LEE House is a minimalist residence located in Taipei, Taiwan, designed by Zonedesign. The ethos behind the Beitou home style is less about adding and more about subtracting, prioritizing decluttering to amplify the home’s tranquility. The aim is to create a more spacious environment, free of unnecessary adornments, which evokes a sense of harmony and relaxation. This approach appears particularly resonant for those starting a new chapter in life – from newlyweds to families welcoming newborns – the design promotes serenity and balance within the domestic sphere. This approach doesn’t mean, however, that the Beitou home style is devoid of character or detail.
